First off, waxing doesn't make hair grow back thicker—it actually does the opposite. With consistent waxing, hair grows in softer, finer, and slower. And no, waxing isn't just for one type of body. We proudly wax everybody, regardless of size, gender, or experience level.

Waxing FAQs—What to Know Before Getting Waxed at Monterey Bay’s Favorite Studio.

We totally get that life happens—but please give us a heads-up! At Waxing By the Sea, we ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the total booked services, including any same-day service removals. There’s a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals, but after that, the appointment is canceled and charged as a no-show (yep, still 50%). Deposits are non-refundable and range from $10–$25 depending on the service. If your cancellation fees go unpaid, we'll have to pause future bookings.

Book your appointment at least 2–3 days beforehand so any redness has time to chill.
